Dr. Susan Phung is a non-invasive cardiologist with Atlantic Medical Group Cardiology at Bridgewater. She is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, hypertension, and clinical lipidology. Fellowship-trained in cardiovascular disease, she has extensive experience diagnosing, monitoring, and treating conditions affecting the heart, blood vessels, and cardiovascular system. With over 10 years of diverse experience, she has cultivated a broad interest in non-invasive cardiology.
Over the years, Dr. Phung realized she wanted to do more to help her patients achieve overall wellness. She developed a growing passion for helping patients make necessary lifestyle changes to optimize their health and achieve weight loss. To further this goal, she trained in Obesity Medicine, enabling her to offer personalized weight loss programs that are both achievable and sustainable.
Dr. Phung’s focus remains on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Dr. Phung earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. She completed her residency at Mt. Sinai St. Luke’s-Mt. Sinai West, NY, and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at New York Medical College-St. Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, NJ. Prior to medical school, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Columbia University and a Master of Science degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from New York Medical College.

Dr. Gerald Stipanuk – Internist with a Focus on Medical Weight Loss & Preventive Care
Dr. Stipanuk is a highly experienced internist with 45 years of clinical practice, recognized nationally for his exemplary leadership as a hospitalist medical director for Emcare. He graduated with honors from the University of Illinois Medical School in Chicago, where he was distinguished as a James Scholar of Independent Study. In addition to his medical degree, Dr. Stipanuk has pursued extensive academic achievements, holding a Master’s degree and having completed all but dissertation (ABD) for a Ph.D. in electrical engineering. Before entering medical school, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a Master’s degree in Geography/Meteorology from the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana.
Dr. Stipanuk has also contributed to atmospheric research, having served as a fog research assistant at White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico and as a visiting scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado. His medical expertise encompasses various conditions, including obesity medicine, stroke management, dementia care, and hypertension, among others.
