Dr. Thomas Henderson, MD
Dr Henderson was born in the Detroit Michigan area. He attended Wayne State University, where he earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees. Dr Henderson also attended graduate school at the University of Michigan and obtained his medical degree at St George’s University. He completed his residency through the Medical College of Virginia at an affiliated hospital in Newport News Va.
Dr Henderson has over thirty years of emergency medicine experience and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. Dr Henderson developed a special interest in sports medicine during his early academic career, attaining his certification in athletic training and ultimately spending two years on the athletic training staff of the Detroit Pistons. He spent the majority of his career practicing emergency medicine in Northern New Jersey.
Dr Henderson is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Emergency Physicians.
Dr Henderson, was once featured on Prime Time Live, to discuss an episode spotlighting Cardiac Arrest. Dr Henderson is an avid sailor and participates in multiple yacht races in the Great Lakes annually. Through a passion for running, Dr Henderson has completed six full marathons. He presently enjoys spending time on the golf course and with his family. As a fanatical sports fan, he loves catching a Yankees, Red Wings or Michigan Wolverines game with his friends and family.
Dr. Debra Walters-Olaru
Debra Walters Olaru is a highly experienced family nurse practitioner specializing in wellness, aesthetics, and Medical Weight Loss, currently practicing at New Jersey Trim Clinic in Somers Point, New Jersey. Deborah holds a Bachelor’s degree from Richard Stockton University, a Master’s degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, and a Doctorate degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, New Jersey. She is board certified in family practice by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANC). Debra received specialized training in medical aesthetics through Empire Medical Training and has been actively involved in this field since 1992.
Debra is dedicated to helping her patients achieve confidence in their appearance through personalized treatment plans. She is committed to educating her patients and providing them with the knowledge necessary to make informed decisions about their care. Her passion for aesthetics and patient care drives her to deliver exceptional results and ensure the well-being of those under her care.
Dr. Susan Phung
Dr. Susan Phung is a non-invasive cardiologist with Atlantic Medical Group Cardiology at Bridgewater. She is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, hypertension, and clinical lipidology. Fellowship-trained in cardiovascular disease, she has extensive experience diagnosing, monitoring, and treating conditions affecting the heart, blood vessels, and cardiovascular system. With over 10 years of diverse experience, she has cultivated a broad interest in non-invasive cardiology.
Over the years, Dr. Phung realized she wanted to do more to help her patients achieve overall wellness. She developed a growing passion for helping patients make necessary lifestyle changes to optimize their health and achieve weight loss. To further this goal, she trained in Obesity Medicine, enabling her to offer personalized weight loss programs that are both achievable and sustainable.
Dr. Phung’s focus remains on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. She takes a personalized and compassionate approach to care, addressing the unique needs of each patient and guiding them toward maintaining a heart-healthy lifestyle. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Phung has collaborated on research studies covering topics such as the management of heart disease and hypertension.
Dr. Phung earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. She completed her residency at Mt. Sinai St. Luke’s-Mt. Sinai West, NY, and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at New York Medical College-St. Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, NJ. Prior to medical school, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Columbia University and a Master of Science degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from New York Medical College.
Dr. Phung is a participating provider with the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization and also serves as a provider for New Jersey Trim Clinic in Somers Point, NJ.
