About This Peptide
Epithalon (also spelled Epitalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) modeled after epithalamin, a polypeptide extract naturally secreted by the pineal gland. It is best known in anti-aging and gerontological research for its ability to activate telomerase, lengthen telomeres, and regulate neuroendocrine rhythmicity.

- Activates Telomerase & Elongates Telomeres: Telomeres are protective caps on the ends of chromosomes that naturally shorten as cells divide, eventually causing cellular senescence (aging) or death.
