Glutathione (GSH) is a powerful tripeptide composed of three amino acids: cysteine, glycine, and glutamic acid. Synthesized naturally in every cell of the body, with the highest concentrations located in the liver, it is widely known as the body’s “master antioxidant.”

Because of this mechanism, high-dose intravenous or oral glutathione is frequently used to reduce hyperpigmentation and support skin tone clarity.
